Abraj TV — Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Abraj TV is a digital signage and in-room guest portal app used exclusively on Android TV devices owned and installed by Abraj Suites Hotel. It is not distributed to or used by the general public on personal devices.
What the app does
The app displays hotel-provided media (images, videos, PDFs) on lobby and common-area screens, and — on TVs physically installed in guest rooms — shows a welcome screen and lets a guest open the hotel's own ordering portal.
Data the app handles
- Device identity: each installed device registers itself with the hotel's own server using a randomly generated identifier, so the hotel's staff can assign it content. No personal information is collected about the device itself.
- Guest name and room number: on a screen the hotel has linked to a specific room, the current guest's name and room number (already held in the hotel's own property-management system) are shown on that screen for a welcome message. This data stays within Abraj Suites Hotel's own systems — the app does not send it to any third party.
- Guest ordering: if a guest opens the ordering portal from the room screen, that portal (a separate part of the hotel's own operations system) may collect order details tied to the room — governed by the hotel's own operational records, not by any external service.
What the app does not do
- No advertising, no ad networks, no ad identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties.
- No account creation, login, or password collection on the device itself.
Third-party content
The app can display a YouTube-hosted video or a hotel-configured live TV/radio stream when the hotel staff sets one up. Playing that content may involve a request to the relevant video/streaming provider (e.g. YouTube), subject to that provider's own privacy terms.
